Jig Maker

Attached to the finishing unit of a foundry, you will be working with pilots , the forklift truck driver, the finishing shop supervisor , the quality and control departments, etc. (team working two eight-hour shifts)


Your duties will include:

  • carrying out the first level checks in terms of handling and maintenance;
  • working on all stages of jig making (plan consultation, workpiece control, identifying flaws, visual inspection and workpiece identification); and
  • logging all operations on the workpiece through to dispatch.

Required skills and qualities

Meticulous, scrupulous, thoughtful with good spatial perception and a creative and inventive outlook, you will be capable of working on your own initiative, able to undertake a wide variety of work and able to carry out first level maintenance. You will already have some previous experience in a job of this type. You will know how to read and understand industrial drawings and technical processes.


A certificate of professional competence would be a bonus. You must be accredited to drive forklift trucks.
