Our core business is producing top-quality industrial products for our customers. We also provide the service and support to go with them.

Learning about materials and production processes

Our subsidiary, Castmetal Feurs, is an accredited training center and can provide courses on the specific features of both materials and processes.

Co-design development cuts costs and improves quality, but it requires a perfect understanding of the design and in-depth knowledge of process constraints.

At Safe Metal, we offer two specific types of training course to enhance efficiency in this area: Co-design of cast steel parts and Optimization of non-destructive testing.

Co-design of cast steel parts :

The focus is on co-designing cast steel parts within target cost by means of clearly-defined and seamlessly-integrated production control procedures.

Content:

  • Study of flaws and how they impact the design process
  • Study of the material
  • Co-design and digital technologies
  • Tour of the foundry
  • Case studies.

Six-monthly sessions:

3-day course.

Optimization of non-destructive testing :

The focus is on non-destructive test methods and the acceptance criteria applicable to cast steel parts.

Content:

  • Study of flaws
  • Study of test methods through the specifications
  • Tour of the foundry
  • Case studies.
